Voigtlander Vitessa T for sale
The Vitessa T was made around 1956. It uses the same plunger film advance as the folding Vitessa models, and uses the same meter as the Vitessa L models. It is a solid and very well-made interchangeable lens 35mm rangefinder camera, the rigid front allows the use of interchangeable lenses. The Vitessa T uses a Synchro-Compur shutter which is behind the taking lens. The Synchro-Compur shutter has the usual speeds from 1 to 1/50th of a second and a bulb setting. The shutter has both M and X flash synch and has a self-timer.
While the camera works 'like a new one', it certainly shows signs of use, and probably fits somewhere between the 'very good' and the 'excellent' zone regarding cosmetic condition. The chrome has some light pitting on the front of the top cover around the meter cell window and the 'Voigtlander' logo.
Just the odd minor battle scar, like the tiny dent near the rewind lever tip..
This camera has been serviced, works as it should, and is priced at NZ$225, airmail postage to the States or Europe would add NZ$35.
