Asahi Pentax K
An early 35mm SLR from Asahi, this model would have been manufactured around 1958. The camera has an instant-return viewing mirror and the shutter speeds run from 1 to 1/1000 second.
The lens is a semi-automatic type. The lever on the lens needs cocking to open the aperture again for the next exposure.
The slow speeds are on a separate dial on the front of the camera, much where you'd expect to find them on an old Leica r/f camera.
The lens on this example is not an original, that would not have been all black, the focus ring would have had alternating black and bright sections, and it would have had a chrome aperture setting ring too.
