Kodak Retina Reflex III (type 041) for sale
A Kodak Retina Reflex III 35mm SLR camera from the early sixties, in tidy enough condition. The Retina Reflex III is a leaf-blade shutter SLR, which unlike more modern SLR cameras does not have an instant-return mirror.
I completely serviced this camera, but that was back in 2011, regardless of that, it is all working correctly. The reason the camera has sat around here for a decade is simple enough, I took the exposure meter and the prism assembly to use in a customer's camera, and it was a long time before I found the time to put this one back together.
This is a tidy enough example to look at, it's short-comings are some visible specks in the finder and the front surface of the Xenar lens has some scratches or marks at one edge. However, if you are looking for a cheap entry into the wonderful world of Retina Reflex cameras, this may well suit you.For sale at NZ$125, tracked airmail postage to the North America or Europe will add NZ$60.00.
