Kodak Retina I (type 119) for sale
This is a very uncommon variant of the type 012 Retinette. This is one made for the French market, and it is fitted with an Angenieux 50mm f/4.5 lens instead of the Reomar lens found on most of the type 012 Retinette production. I don't know the manufacturer of the shutter. I know it says 'Kodak' on the front, but it doesn't resemble any shutter I'm familiar with, perhaps it is something from a French manufacturer, and the "Kodak' is just to identify the camera manufacturer, just like the name badge on the front of Gauthier and Deckel shutters on Retina and Retinette cameras.
Kodak Retina I (type 119) for saleThis is a tidy enough example, although it was quite ugly when I started with it. I restored this camera in 2024.You can see the process in this YouTube playlist. Restoring a Kodak Retina I type 119 Camera For sale at NZ$225, tracked airmail postage to the North America or Europe will add NZ$60.00.
