Kodak Retina IIC (type 029) for sale

The Retina IIC was only manufactured in 1957 and 1958, and was not made in large numbers. It was never imported into the USA by Eastman Kodak, and is somewhat hard to find there as a result.

The camera is very much the same as the Retina IIIC, with the same large, bright finder with frame lines for the standard, wide and tele lenses. The differences are the lack of the exposure meter, and the Schneider Retina-Xenon lens having a maximum aperture of f/2.8 rather than f/1.9.

The shutter is a Synchro-Compur with speeds from 1 second to 1/500th second, is synchronised for bulb or electronic flash, and it has a built-in self-timer.

Probably made for the domestic German market, or at least the European market, this one has a metric focus scale.

This is always a popular model with users and collectors. This one has been freshy serviced by me and comes with the original leather ever-ready case.
